Eucerin AtopiControl Calming Balm is a daily-use body balm that has been specially formulated to soothe and intensely moisturize irritated and itchy skin.
The light but nourishing oil-in-water balm is enriched with soothing Licochalcone A, Ceramides and Shea butter to strengthen skin’s barrier and relieve dryness and itching. It should also be used during a flare-up alongside Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream, Eucerin Anti-Itch Spray and your usual medication. The atopic eczema balm provides instant moisture to make skin soft and smooth and, with regular application, skin condition noticeably improves. The fragrance-free balm has a light, pleasant texture that absorbs quickly and is non-greasy and non-sticky.
Eucerin AtopiControl Calming Balm is dermatologically tested for dry, atopic skin. It is safe to use from day one for the fragile skin of newborns and babies, nappy area only from 1st month . Cleanse
Cleanse your face in the morning and evening with Eucerin UltraSENSITIVE Cleansing Lotion. Cleanse your body with Eucerin AtopiControl Bath and Shower Oil. These products can be used during acute flare-ups of Atopic Dermatitis as well as during the period between flare-ups.
Care
Daily care for the periods between flare-ups Apply the appropriate daily care product: Eucerin AtopiControl Balm: a light balm that is easy to apply all over your body Eucerin AtopiControl Lotion: a rich lotion that is easy to apply all over your body Eucerin AtopiControl Cream: a nourishing cream for specific areas of your body such as the elbows and knees Eucerin AtopiControl Hand Cream: also suitable for Hand Eczema Eucerin AtopiControl Face Cream: an ideal make-up base Additional care for during a flare-up Apply Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream to the relevant affected area to relieve itching and improve skin condition. Use it to provide immediate and long-lasting relief whenever your skin is itchy – either during a flare-up of Atopic Dermatitis or in the periods between. As it’s not a care product, we recommend you use it in combination with other products in the AtopiControl range. Eucerin AtopiControl Anti-Itch-Spray is also effective on skin that is itchy as a result of Xerosis, Psoriasis and Diabetes. Sun protection Atopic skin is particularly sensitive to UVA and UVB rays. For this reason, if your skin is going to be exposed to sunlight, we recommend that you apply a sun protection product after your care product. You only need to add this stage in the mornings. Try Eucerin Sun Creme SPF30 or Eucerin Sun Creme SPF50+ for your face and try Eucerin Sun Lotion Extra Light SPF30 or Eucerin Sun Lotion Extra Light SPF50 for your body.

What is the difference between Eucerin AtopiControl Balm, Eucerin AtopiControl Lotion and Eucerin AtopiControl Cream?
The balm and the lotion are both ideal for use on atopic skin all over the body. They are both effective at soothing skin and supporting its natural barrier function. The choice of which product to use comes down to textural preference: the balm is an oil-in-water formulation and is lighter; the water-in-oil lotion is richer. Some people choose to use the lotion during the winter and the balm during the summer. The cream has a thicker texture and has been specially formulated for use on problem areas such as the elbows and knees.
Is Eucerin AtopiControl Balm suitable for use on children?

What do you mean by a ‘flare-up’ and ‘the period between flare-ups’?
Broadly speaking, Atopic Dermatitis has two different phases. A ‘flare-up’ is one of the names used to describe the acute, active phase when skin is at its most irritable. It can feel intensely itchy, you may experience a burning sensation and skin can look red, dry and flaky. Between these acute, flare-up phases are periods of time when your skin is relatively calm and less irritated. This period is also known as the non-acute, non-active or interval phase. The length of each phase varies greatly depending on the individual, but products specially formulated to care for atopic skin − such as those in the Eucerin AtopiControl range − can help to extend the period between flare-ups and offer relief during acute flare-ups.
Is Atopic Dermatitis the same as Atopic Eczema?
