With Omega oils and Licochalcone A to help alleviate the discomfort of Atopic Dermatitis
Easily absorbed water-in-oil lotion that hydrates, soothes and reduces roughness in atopic skin.
Eucerin AtoControl Body Care Lotion uses a combination of concentrated Omega-6-fatty acids (Evening Primrose Oil and Grape Seed Oil) and soothing Licochalcone A (an extract of the licorice root) to replenish skin, helping restore its natural barrier and making it more resilient. Apply once or twice daily or as adjunctive care to Eucerin AtoControl Acute Care Cream during a flare-up.
With regular application itch and tightness are relieved and skin feels soft and noticeably smoothed. Eucerin AtoControl Body Care Lotion is clinically and dermatologically proven to be compatible with atopic skin in adults, children and babies from 3 months old.
The water-in-oil formula is fragrance-free, colourant-free and paraben-free to minimise the risk of skin irritation and allergies.
Clinical Studies
Clinical and dermatological studies prove very good skin tolerability on patients with atopic skin.

Ingredients List
What is the difference between Eucerin AtoControl Care Cream and Eucerin AtoControl Body Care Lotion?
The key ingredients are the same in both but the texture is different. Eucerin AtoControl Care Cream is richer and thicker than Eucerin AtoControl Body Care Lotion. This makes it better for localised application whereas Body Care Lotion is applied more liberally.
Will Eucerin AtoControl products cure my Atopic Dermatitis?
There is no cure as such for this disease but applying AtoControl Care Cream as part of a daily skin care routine can alleviate some of the discomfort.
Is Eucerin AtoControl Body Care Lotion suitable for use on children?
Yes, so long as your child is three months or older.
What is meant by the “vicious circle of atopic skin”?
This describes the constant dry, itchy skin cycle experienced by people with Atopic Dermatitis. Irritation begins so the sufferer scratches. The scratching causes inflammation which leads to skin dryness which causes barrier dysfunction. This, in turn, provides a humid growth environment for Staphylococcus aureus bacteria to colonise, causing irritation and further scratching. And so the vicious circle continues.
Is Atopic Dermatitis the same as eczema?
No. Eczema is a general term for any inflammation of the skin. Atopic Dermatitis is a form of eczema, so is also known as Atopic Eczema, but there are several other skin diseases that are eczemas but not Atopic Dermatitis.
